Dear Citizens of Travis County,
Almost everyone is served by the office of the Tax Assessor and Voter Registrar at some point each year. For most, it is a smooth process, whether it’s paying your property taxes, buying, selling, or registering your vehicle, or becoming registered as a voter. I am excited to announce my candidacy for this elected office, and to let the residents of Travis County know that I will work hard to improve the functions and service that the office provides.
My background is in business, and the business of running the County Tax Assessor’s office is challenging, should be taken seriously, and handled with utmost care. I intend to upgrade the e-governance services provided by the office so that many things can be handled online without having to come see us, and to reflect the technology and connectedness of our time. When you do need to stop by the office, rest assured that the citizen services provided to each individual will be top notch, and in line with the friendliness and spirit of the people who call Central Texas home.
